As the renovation of the old Bakers Dozen Dount shop has been proceeding – a little too slow for many people who are looking forward to its opening – this blog was beginning to think they were not going to replace the front glass facade. But it appears the are going to do it. Yea!

It’s odd that it’s taking this long. Usually when a franchise is opened, they put the hammer down for a week or two and then it’s done. I’m wondering if there’s some kind of licensing problem, because the old Baker’s Dozen signs are still up… And no trace of any sort of Tim Horton’s signage. Not even a “Coming Soon” sign…?
